
IBM has announced an expansion of its delivery platform IBM Consulting Advantage with the Adobe Assistant Pack — a suite of assistants, agents, and assets aimed at accelerating Adobe solution deployments and increasing return on investment.
IBM Consulting Advantage is positioned as an AI platform that helps IBM Consulting specialists and their clients complete project work faster and more efficiently. The new Adobe Assistant Pack is designed to support the implementation and delivery of Adobe Experience Cloud solutions to speed innovation, simplify operations, and improve execution quality.
How the pack helps deploy Adobe Experience Cloud
According to IBM, using IBM Consulting Advantage in Adobe projects can shorten deployment timelines and increase efficiency for products such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Real-Time CDP, and Adobe Workfront.
The Adobe Assistant Pack includes tools that automate and "augment" repetitive tasks using AI. These include a data layer testing assistant (in IBM’s example, test-case preparation time is reduced from 12 to 6 hours), an analytics data layer recommender for Real-Time CDP (time reduced from 6 to 3 hours), a schema design assistant (from 6 to 2 hours), and an SEO metadata recommender (reducing execution time by 50%). Also described are tools for developing customer segmentation strategies in Experience Platform, a schema classifier for Data Governance compliance, a Q&A assistant "Ask Me Anything" over a corpus of Adobe materials, an event data layer generator for Adobe Analytics, AI tools for code review and component creation in Adobe Experience Manager, and a content generation assistant integrated into Workfront via Workfront Fusion.
Example: digital acceleration for Riyadh Air
As a practical case, IBM cites Riyadh Air — the "world's first digital airline" — which uses Adobe assets on top of IBM Consulting Advantage.
According to IBM, Riyadh Air:
- launched the site riyadhair.com on Experience Manager in less than two months;
- deployed Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer, Customer Journey Analytics, and Workfront in three months;
- activated digital media campaigns in three weeks.
"Our delivery of digital products is co-created by people and AI assistants, which enables us to innovate through rapid experiments while delivering speed and consistently premium quality at scale," said Abe Dev, Vice President of Digital Products and Innovation at Riyadh Air. He noted that a hybrid team of experts and "digital workers" helps extract more value from Adobe implementations.
Next steps
IBM also said it plans to develop additional assistants within IBM Consulting Advantage focused on improving software development lifecycle efficiency and marketing operations effectiveness — to speed the deployment and operation of Adobe products and help clients fully realize their Adobe investments.
